About the Initiative

PMI Gujarat Chapter (PMIGJC) has formed this group to support PMP prospects within our membership base by connecting aspirants and recent PMP achievers for peer learning and guidance. PMIGJC acts strictly as a facilitator. VP Academies and VP training will be administrator of this group.

Group Description:

• PMIGJC has formed this group to help PMP prospects with assistance from members and prospects and will strictly play the role of facilitators. Any communication that happens in the group will not be the responsibility of PMIGJC.
• Mentors and mentees should avoid use of or reference to any pirated copies or unethical practices.
• PMIGJC does not scrutinize any mentor or their knowledge. Suggestions/Guidance provided by members/mentors are based on their own knowledge and experience.

Eligibility Criteria

• PMP Aspirants (Mentees): PMIGJC members planning to pursue PMP
• Recent PMP Certificate holders (Mentors): Completed PMP in last 6 months
• PMIGJC Board Members: Interested in assisting group admins and answering questions.

Mentors’ Tenure & Recognition

• Mentors are expected to remain active and supportive in the group for at least six months.
• After six months, mentors may request official retirement by writing to the administrators.
• Mentors providing active support for a minimum of six months will be recognized with a certificate from PMIGJC.

• References to standard/ethical study resources and books
• Mock test guidance and discussion
• Networking between mentees and mentors for doubt clearing
• Clarifications on the 35 contact hours education requirement
• Facilitating and discussing PMP-like questions posted in the group.
